Classic Camping Aberdare encompasses the best of Kenya - excellent
game viewing both from the vehicle and on guided walks, stunning scenery,
time spent in the company of tribal people as well a stay on the home farm
of your host. The maximum group size is 10 people ensuring personal service.
The campsites are in beautiful settings, carefully chosen to be as private
and wild as possible. The sleeping tents have a spacious insect proof inner,
with full sized (6ft 9inch long) comfortable beds - a double bed if you like
- with bedside table and hanging space. Continental quilts are provided as
standard, but we can supply sheets and blankets if you prefer. Each tent has
its own private veranda with chairs so that you can choose to read or write
in privacy. You will find your own private toilet and shower tents just
behind your sleeping tent, hot water for showering or for wash basins is
available at any time.
If you are looking for a true African adventure, combined with exclusivity
and comfort, then this safari will appeal to you. If you visit Africa
without spending nights under canvas in a private camp, you have missed the
experience of a true African Safari. Camping allows you to get close to the
sounds, smells and sights of Africa. Lodges and home stays allow you to
relax in more familiar surroundings.
