The Serena Safari Lodges are the ultimate fusion of traditional African

Our safari moves ahead from Nairobi to the northern Samburu and Shaba
Game Reserves. It is a rugged and semi-arid terrain which houses various
species like zebra, giraffe, oryx, gerenuk, somali ostrich and dik-dik.
Also watch elephant, lion, cheetah and leopard that can be seen
regularly during morning and evening game drives.
For contrast, three days are spent game viewing in the rolling green
plains of the Masai Mara. Supposed to be the best of Kenya's wildlife
areas, the Mara is the northern end of the Serengeti Ecosystem, and is
the pathway of the yearly wildebeest migration that comes north from
Tanzania around mid-July and then circles back around October. The
fertile Mara plains continues to offer a tremendous amount of game and
are home to the Masai people.
If time allows we suggest that you end your safari with a few days
lazing on the beach as Serena Hotels have a beautiful coastal property

Day 01 - Nairobi, Serena Hotel
On arrival in Nairobi you will be met and transferred to the Serena Hotel
for your overnight stay.
Day 02 & 03 - Samburu & Shaba National Reserve - Serena Lodge
You will be collected you from the Serena and transferred to Wilson Airport
for the flight to Samburu & Shaba National Reserve. On arrival you will
be met and transferred to the Samburu Serena for your 2 night stay - all
game viewing and meals are included.
Day 04 to 06 - Masai Mara Game Reserve - Serena Lodge
Transfer to Samburu Airport for your flight along Africa's Great Rift
Valley, passing over lakes and volcanoes, you reach the Masai Mara on
Kenya's southern border. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the
Mara Serena for your 3 night stay. Again all game viewing and meals are
included.
Day 07 - Nairobi
After a morning game drive, time permitting, your safari ends with a flight
to Nairobi Airport.
